Remarks & Notes
Maine Central 501 - a 1910 built Alco 2-8-0 steam engine, which originally served the Maine Central Railroad. Since the 1980s the locomotive has been owned by the 470 Railroad Club and situated on the Conway Scenic Railroad property. Although this locomotive is not operational in recent years it has received a complete cosmetic restoration. Looking pretty she is now on display in a prime viewing area next to Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.
