Remarks & Notes
A pair of EMD SD70MACs lead a loaded Powder River Basin coal train through the S-curve of Bragdon, seven miles north of Pueblo, after a relief had just boarded the train to take it to La Junta. With PTC and Trip Optimizer requirements needed for a locomotive to lead, it is becoming rare to see the EMD motors lead across the BNSF system.
