Remarks & Notes |
The only thing to remind one this afternoon that its fall is a cool breeze blowing down the coast as Amtrak's appropriately named Coast Starlight skirts the Pacific Ocean while passing through the Carpinteria Bluffs Nature Preserve. The popular long-distance train is just shy of 100 miles into its northbound journey, which will end with a grand total of 1,137 miles completed when it arrives at Seattle, Washington the following day. |
