Seeing an EMD CSXT motor leading trains isn't too common around the Midwest. Here a SD70Mac leads this potash train on the BNSF Aurora Sub. The train is passing thru Savanna enroute towards Grebner, SD, from interchange at Chicago. As I was standing here waiting for the train I reflected on how much Savanna has changed over the years. The signals, the old wooden bridge, and the parade of BN SD40-2's is long gone, and this was once a busy yard and crew change for BNSF in recent years, now sits somewhat dormant too. Time marches on with no regard to history!
