| Almost ten years ago, one could go to anywhere along the Georgia Central Macon to Savannah line and find old U boats working hard to haul freight across the middle of the state. Sadly, seeing any GE power on the GC is now a thing of the past. On a sunny day in March 2010, we find three U23B locomotives hard at work in the Georgia Central yard in downtown Macon. |
