Remarks & Notes |
The rain eased up for just a brief moment as CSX A707-18 "Chickamauga Turn" is crossing South Chickamauga creek as the lone Geep is taking 3 empty boxcars to the Bonny Oak Industrial Park on the Tyner Branch. The cars are heading to WestRock Packaging Co to be loaded with paper products. The Tennessee Valley Railroad also has a right of way in this location as evident in the background as a line of cars are being stored at the McCarty siding. The Tyner Branch is part of the former L&N Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant branch that start at the bottom of the line along the Western & Atlantic Sub, and east to what is known today as the Enterprise South Industrial Park. |
