| Old School Providence Railroading
Another morning I should have been asleep but instead did a little shooting.
On the drive home from Boston this particlar AM I passed P&W train PR3 in Pawtucket where I95 parallels the corridor and the remnants of the old Northrup Avenue hump receiving yard. Noticing that they had three high cube boxcars I knew they were heading to switch the Journal down by Atwells interlocking so I hopped off 95 and headed down to Harris Ave. where I didn't have to wait long.
I was rewarded with these gritty urban shots of them working the last customer in the old Providence Yard area. To top it off they had two classic red and brown original PW GP38-2s. Not bad for pure luck on my commute home!
