"IC2000" push-pull train, running the IC 809 of the line IC 8 from Brig via Bern-Zürich to Romanshorn, is entering Winterthur. Pulling is locomotive Re 460 # 071 in the publicity paint scheme for the "Helvetia" insurance. The dining car WR in the middle of the train is closed because of the Covid-19 protection measures. I assume that there are less then 100 passengers in the long train in the Corona crisis. The trains were deliberately not shortened to allow "social distancing", a completely new term in Switzerland. We use this english term now very often, interestingly spoken in english, not in our languages german, french, italian and romansh. The SBB looses several millions of swiss francs daily in the Corona crisis.
