| "Contributing to the Heartbeat"
New York & Atlantic Railway's SW1001 leads the RS-30 east back towards Fresh Pond after serving customers at Wheelspur Facility in Long Island City. Manhattan's skyline fills the background with the Empire State Building lit red and top needle flashing red and white with a dynamic heartbeat to pay tribute to all the heroes on the frontline of the coronavirus epidemic. While not directly on the front lines, NYAR is one of the many railroads that continues to provide around-the-clock service to several essential businesses during the COVID-19/Corona Virus pandemic, contributing to the "heartbeat". Special recognition goes to everyone out there keeping the world running during such tough times. |
