Citizens of Virginia City with Locomotive "Glenbrook". When Pete Lerro was planning his night photo session at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City, he asked the museum staff if they had a couple of reenactors who could be available after dark. Well, just as the sun went down, all manner of folk dressed and groomed in very authentic period garb suddenly started appearing all over the grounds, many of whom were packing some serious heat. It seems as if an entire reenactment group showed up and volunteered to be part of the action. Later, I learned that there are a number of historic reenactment groups based in Virginia City and these folks participate in a number of public events that happen during the prime tourist season. Here, a dozen and a half of them pose with the narrow gauge "Glenbrook" Locomotive in front of the museum's Wabuska Depot Building.
