Remarks & Notes
Union Pacific #1988, the Missouri-Kansas-Texas heritage unit, leads the Los Angeles, CA to Denver, CO UPS train through farm-town of Fort Lupton, CO. Here, 1988 starts to rip up to speed after stopping to inspect sparks coming off of the second motor's traction motors. It was a sticking brake that the conductor was able to free.
