CSX isn't the only one rebuilding their older AC4400's as Canadian Pacific began to do so in 2018. Here, we see AC4400CWM 8076, formerly 9551, leading K443 north of Kennesaw. Much like the CSX models, these engines received new electronics, improved radiators for engine & dynamic cooling & new GEVO-style cabs. Weird to think that the AC4400CW, which was first introduced a year before I was born, are now being rebuilt or retired by the class ones, which means I'll be older than just about all of the current road power in the not too distance future.
