At SMS Line in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, the night of Thursday, July 2, 2020 finds a pair of vintage diesels parked after the day’s work. 102 (DS4-4-750, built for Youngstown Sheet & Tube as 701) and 301 (RS12, built as Baldwin demostrator 1200) sit in their Reading Railroad tribute paint. Despite their advanced ages, these units work regularly to service customers, and are certainly not museum pieces.
