The Reading Company sesquicentennial Reading – Philadelphia excursion trip crosses the 1856 Schuylkill River Viaduct in the West Falls section of Philadelphia. The viaduct is one leg of a wye, and the train has a few hundred yards to travel before backing across the river on a deck girder bridge and beginning the return to Reading.
