BNSF 4701 leads a Chicago to Stockton intermodal train out of Crozier Canyon; rounding the curve towards Valentine. This train is of the "mega trains" where the railroad is combining two trains together to run as one. This particular train was 12,700 feet long, 9,800 tons, with seven locomotives (second motor is isolated) running 3 x 4. Once the train arrives into Barstow, they'll split the train and one portion will go to Los Angeles, while the rest will continue to Northern California.
