A dying EMD's last request....just to have a little company. Metra F40C 610 and IHB SW1200 2256 create an extremely sad sight at the entrance to NRE Dixmoor this afternoon. Lot of good times with these two units over the years. With the impending closure of this facility, the scrapper has been busy and in the very near future, these two classics will join the pile of scrap metal to the left.
