Built in 1940 the former London Underground trains running on the Isle of Wight's 'Island Line' are the oldest running in regular service in the UK and are due to be retired at the end of 2020. 483 008 works the 16.38 Shanklin – Ryde Pier Head and 006 the 16.49 Ryde Pier Head – Shanklin. The building on the right is the maintenance depot for the Class 483s.
