| This is the old Milwaukee Road Depot in Mason City. This depot is no longer used since the CP has build a new office near the roundhouse on the southside of the yard. In 2018 the CP was going to demolish this old gem but efforts have been put forth to now save it. You never know the fate of these buildings Here the switcher shoves cars into the yard they just pulled from the IATR interchange. They are working towards building a B38 train called for 15:00 to run east.
This depot is a place I went on and off duty from 2000-2004 for the IMRL and IC&E. |
