The J is reborn! ET44AC #3023, specially painted in EJ&E paint, holds on the CN Calumet Spur in East Chicago, IN. In charge of pet coke that was picked up at the nearby BP plant, the train will continue on to Louisiana as a U700 symbol. On home rails, a classic EJ&E stone whistle marker still stands at this location. CN did an amazing job on their heritage fleet and with the J being my favorite railroad since I was a kid, this unit is right at the top of my list when it comes to a favorite.
