| A Hoboken to Summit "local" expresses through Millburn Train Station. While NJT 341 is technically a local train, it does not stop at Millburn or Short Hills so to keep traffic flowing. With only 2 main tracks between Millburn and Summit Interlockings, this part of the mainline can become a bottleneck. The leader was originally built for NJ Transit as F40PH-2 NJT 4115 (later upgraded to F40PH-2CAT). It was sold to Metro-North and rebuilt into F40PH-3C MNCW 4911 in 2012. |
