This is the first test day for the steam rotary snow blower R 12, built in 1913 by the SLM Winterthur for the Rhaetian Railway, after a 18 year reconstruction by the "R 12 group" of Martin Horath in Goldau. The R 12 is standing on the supply track of Realp DFB depot, the tender is not coupled yet. In front is the auxiliary coupling visible, needed to move the vehicle. The steam auxiliary drive on one axle is not yet functional at this moment, so the vehicle was moved by a small diesel "tractor" Tm # 91.
