Soto, on BNSF Railway’s San Bernardino Sub, is the junction with Metrolink’s River Subdivision, West Bank Line. Metrolink train 752, a weekend service train originating in Los Angeles’ Union Station about eight miles to the north and heading to Perris, in Riverside County, is stopped waiting for permission to operate on the BNSF. SCAX F125 909, built by EMD in December 2016, is in charge of train 752 this day. (Vernon, California – January 2, 2021)
