| With the light snow and freezing fog, multiple S curve and a heavy consist, BNSF 8205 (ES44C4) could only manage to eek out a few miles per hour between Monument and Palmer Lake, Colorado. Once through Palmer Lake the three engines and gravity got the freight back in form as it made track speed on the down gradient stretch to Greenland. |
