Imagine the stories they could tell. Dozens of locomotives keep each other company at NRE's Silvis Facility. Leading the way is probably the most important of the pack. The veteran GP7u started life as the ATSF GP7 2820 in 1952. It was later rebuilt to GP7u standards and renumbered to 2125. For over 68 years, it's kept the same paint and it's amazing how well it has held up.
