Light dusting of snow and clear blue skies called our name on Monday for a bit. We headed out for some UP traffic on the Clinton Sub in eastern Iowa. Unfortunately the UP didn't want to play ball as we only shot 5 east/1 west from 11-5pm. Here an eastbound ethanol train from Mason City, IA, to Proviso, IL, (CSX) hammers down as they roundup a coal train between Koch and Stanwood. 54 miles ahead is Clinton and the next crew change point.
