It's CSX turn to cross the diamond on this dreary Sunday afternoon as CSX Q237-30 (Louisville,KY-Winston,FL) race south through downtown Dalton. The year was 2013 a much different time in the world of railfanning. During that time, we were in the A&E era, Anything and Everything that was running. Seeing a SD50-2 was exciting to see at the time knowing later most of the 8500, and 8600 series units were slowly going back into storage for a short time due to the slump in the economy. That was only 8 years ago. Now in the PSR-world of railroading there’s only a total of these series of locomotives left on the active CSX roster.
