Remarks & Notes |
Canadian Pacific Train 250 is seen pulling through the customs scanner in Jackman, Maine after arriving from Montreal, Quebec. The Canadian crew has just handed the train over to the American crew who is taking the train through the scanner then continue to Brownville Junction, Maine. The head end is passing the abandoned and derelict 1910 Canadian Pacific Depot in the center of town. The CP purchased this line from Central Maine Quebec last year and acquired the SD40-2F locomotives in the sale. Ironically enough both the line and the locomotives used to belong to CP. The Bangor & Aroostook heritage unit is in charge today as a system power shortage has been forcing CP to put the classic engines in service. |
