| The Iowa Northern's Jordan Spreader is at the end of the line. They are a few miles north of Oelwein and stopped short of highway 3. North of here is just the elevator tracks for Viafield on this part of the ex-CGW mainline to St. Paul. The crew is now preparing the spreader for the deadhead trip back to Waterloo. The crew has spend the past 5 hours plowing north between Waterloo and Oelwein. The afternoon light cast a mean shadow looking like it's ready to bite. |
