| "Electric AAA Service at Pelham Bay"
On the afternoon of March 22, 2021 Amtrak ACS-64 656 is seen towing disabled Acela train 2155 (2012/2013) over the Pelham Bay Railroad Bridge on Amtrak's Hell Gate Line. 2155 suffered electrical issues just east of New Rochelle on Metro North's New Haven Line, preventing it from continuing it's trip to Washington DC. A rescue engine was sent to recover the disabled trainset, passengers were transferred to a Regional to NY Penn Station and a new Acela trainset was dispatched from there to continue the trip. |
