On a beautiful winter day on the "king of the mountains", the Rigi, the egineeer is slowly driving down the cogwheel railcar Bhe 2/4 # 2 of the Rigi Bahnen between Rigi Staffelhöhe and Rigi Kaltbad-First on the grade of 25.0 %, train CC 1110 from Rigi Kulm to Vitznau. The red railcars # 1 to # 3 were built in 1937 by SLM and BBC vor the Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn, when the line was electrified with 1500 V DC, and they are in regular daily service yet. The railcar has 72 seats, 450 HP and the maximum velocity is 18 km/h running up and 12 km/h when running down. It can push a car with 11 ton maximum weight. Above the sea of fog, laying on the Vierwaldstättersee, you can see the Pilatus in the right front window, and Stanserhorn and the Bernese Alps from Finsteraarhorn to Jungfrau in the left front window.
