To get to Union Pacific’s West Colton Yard, westbound trains coming off the railroad’s Yuma Sub pass under the Mojave Sub on a big curve and then swing back to pass the yard on the Alhambra Sub. UP train IG4LB-08, which originated at Global 4 intermodal yard in Elwood IL, is about to curve back toward the yard, where it will stop for a crew change before continuing on to its destination of Long Beach. UP AC4400CW 7176 and ES44AC 7430 are powering this train. (Colton, California – April 9, 2021)
