Metrolink 121, headed this evening by the SCAX 901, leaves Burbank Junction in the dust as it approaches its next station stop - Burbank Airport South. Waiting patiently in the coast siding are a pair of dinosaurs, F59PHR's, that have been brought back to life from the deadlines and potential gutting for service on Metrolink's current rail train operation. It wont be long before the MPI MP36PH-3C pulling tonight's last East Ventura-bound train will find itself out of a job looking for a rail train of its own to pull to stay alive.
