This MWCNP-30 ran up the Sharp Sub then on to the Provo subdivision into Salt Lake City. Lead by EMD SD70ACe-T4 3092. I watched it's progress all day, with the hope of catching it when I got off work. It flew across the Sharp Sub. When I got off work, I took the gamble that I could get to one of my favorite shots the Jordan Narrows (Mesa). I probably wouldn't have made it, but they stopped him in American Fork five miles from my location. I found out he was stopped for some welders on the rail. So I end up waiting for him for over two hours. In what I originally thought would be a quick shot. Fortunately when he did come, Front Runner number 4 decided to get in on the action. The train consisted of Union Pacific 3092 6764 rear end DPU 8964 and 144 cars.
