Eurocity 196 from Munich to Zürich, between Winterthur Tössmühle and Winterthur. This train is operated regularly with two trainsets, this day there were RABe 503 # 014 and ETR 610 # 006 in multiple control. The designation of these high-speed tilting trains is somewhat confusing. First built by Alstom (formerly FIAT Ferroviaria), the 14 trains are designated ETR 610 and were delivered to the then Cisalpino. After this company was dissolved at the end of 2009, 7 of the trains went to Trenitalia and 7 to SBB. SBB later ordered 12 more trains of this type, but they were now designated RABe 503. The SBB has now 19 of this "Astoro" trains (7 ETR 610 and 12 RABe 503), which are mainly operating between Zürich and Munich, between Geneva and Milano (-Venezia) and between Basel-Bern-Simplon-Milano.
