Remarks & Notes
This three-axle cogwheel locomotive He 2/3 # 8 of the Rigi Bahnen (built in 1930 for the Arth-Rigi-Bahn) usually has a large snow blower mounted on the front, the whole body can be rotated 180 degrees on the underframe for uphill blasting. This summer, this blowing device was dismantled (requiring about 2 days and many man-hours), so that the locomotive can be used in passenger service with a higher pushing weight. He 2/3 # 8 is coming down the mountain between Rigi Staffel and Wölfertschen-First with train CC 238 from Rigi Kulm to Arth-Goldau RB. The cars are B # 32 (built 1875), B # 5 (built 1871) and open B # 11 "Bambus" (built 1889).
