A westbound SEPTA commuter train arrives at the Downingtown station located along Amtrak's Keystone line, one stop shy of its terminus in Thorndale, PA. A beautiful station built by the PRR in 1892 once stood here, as seen here in a series of historic photos. Sadly, the station was destroyed by fire in the early morning of February 24, 1992. Interestingly, in addition to SEPTA commuter trains, Amtrak makes stops here as well.
