2-8-2 "Mikado" 141 R # 1244, built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1945 for the french SNCF, now owned and operated in Switzerland by association "Mikado 1244" in Brugg AG, during the stop in Gossau SG to take water. The train, organized by the Eurovapor Sulgen, ran from Brugg AG via Zürich Altstetten-Zürich Oerlikon-Kloten-Winterthur-Gossau-St.Gallen to Romanshorn, from where part of the guests made a cruise with the steamer "DS Hohentwiel" on the Lake Constance. The return trip started in Rorschach and led via Romanshorn-Kreuzlingen-Weinfelden-Frauenfeld-Winterthur-Kloten-Regensdorf back to Brugg AG (further with electro traction to Basel).
