A late afternoon Amtrak Keystone sprints west, non-stop, through SEPTA's Thorndale station, some 35 miles west of Philadelphia, PA. The station at Thorndale consists of little more than high level covered platforms with a shelter on each side along with abundant parking. Thorndale is SEPTA's last stop along the Keystone line and all its trains arrive from the east never actually passing the station. The station is owned by Amtrak though serves SEPTA exclusively.
