After stopping to allow hot BNSF train Z-NBYWSP9-14U to thread its way around eastbound BNSF S-LBELPC1-13 and westbound Q-ALTLAC1-12, engineer JM Rossi is accelerating BNSF Dash 9-44CW 5505 gets train Q-ALTLAC, a Guaranteed Service Intermodal train, which originated in Alliance TX, moving again on a hot (107ºF / 41.67ºC) July afternoon. BNSF 5505 is teamed with ES44C4 8108 and Dash 9-44CW 5712 to handle this 59 car, 4332 ton, 5622-foot train to its destination of Los Angeles. (Ludlow, California – July 14, 2021)
