For the Anthracite Railroad Historical Society's 70th Anniversary Convention, a special was operated over the DL/Pocono Main from Scanton, PA to Tobyhanna, PA. Here we see an A-B-A set of Delaware, Lackawanna & Western F units, led by Tri-State Railroad Historical Society F3(A) #663 followed by Anthracite Railroad Historical Society's F7(B) and F3(A) #664. This route is being considered (again) for restoration of service utilizing Amtrak equipment, originating in New York, NY with a terminus of Scranton, PA.
