After taking forever to finally leave Augusta due to NS holding them up, Q197 finally got a late start & is seen here passing the YYG 54.2 intermediate, which to my knowledge is one of, if not the only, US&S style signals left on the subdivision. I would actually take this route back to Georgia Southern (Hail Southern!) during my college days when I wasn't in a rush & remember passing this signal & wanting to get a shot here. Anyways, back to the train, leading is the 3194, the companies "Spirit of Our Law Enforcement" engine. This train is often pushing 15,000+ feet long in the age of PSR, & with the usual power consist of one engine up front & one mid-train, this & counterpart 198 are pretty easy to chase & will have the whole 170+ mile subdivision to themselves due to their extreme lengths, which isn't necessarily a problem since they are also the only regularly scheduled road trains on this line.
