The very powerful tank steamlocomotive Ec 4/5 # 11 (2-8-0, built by SLM in 1911, 1050 HP) of the former Solothurn-Münster-Bahn (SMB), now operated by Association Dampfbahn Bern, with a winter special from Burgdorf via Solothurn-Biel to La Chaux-de-Fonds in the Jura mountain range. In the upper Suze valley (Vallon de St-Imier) from Courtelary the line has a stady ascent of about 2.2 %. The train will reach Renan BE shortly, where it will stop for 20 minutes for two crossings.
