| 2-10-0 freight train steamlocomotive 52 # 8154 of the EMBB (Eisenbahnmuseum Bayerischer Bahnhof e.V., Leipzig) and based in Leipzig-Plagwitz, on the turntable of the Bw Dresden Altstadt during the night photo event on the occasion of the 13th steamlocomotive gathering Dresden. The locomotive was built in 1943 by the MBA - Maschinenbau und Bahnbedarf AG (Potsdam-Babelsberg) for the Deutsche Reichsbahn Gesellschaft (DRG) as 52 # 4896. In 1965 reconstructed in the RAW Stendal by the Deutsche Reichsbahn of the German Democratic Republic and renumbered to 52 # 8154. Withdrawn in 1992 by the DR. Since 1995 protected by the "Denkmalschutz des Freistaates Sachsen" and declared technical cultural monument of town of Leipzig. |
