Four E-units of varying heritage lay-over in Denver, Colorado, after cutting off Amtrak's San Francisco Zephyr on August 29, 1973. Included in this consist are BN E8As 9964 and 9942 (both ex-Chicago Burlington & Quincy, 9964 and 9942A, respectively) and Amtrak E9As 426 (ex-Union Pacific 952) and 424 (ex-UP 947). Leo J.
