Columbia Basin Railroad’s turn to the BNSF connection at Connell has begun its return trip and is just clearing Moon Road grade crossing between Connell and Frischknecht, Washington, on the afternoon of September 28, 2021. The two EMD SD9s powering the train can both trace their ancestry to the Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range.
