St. Maries River Railroad’s turn to Plummer heads back home as it departs Plummer Junction, Idaho, on September 27, 2021. The track on the right is part of the wye, that was also part of a loop of track the Union Pacific used to access its branch to Wallace, Idaho. The remnants of the junction switch for this branch can be seen above STMA GP9 No. 101’s first roof fan.
