Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad’s first train to Silverton on August 31, 2021, is powered by Alco diesel DL535 No. 107, and is in the boarding process for the return trip to Durango on 12th Street in Silverton, Colorado. The D&SNG purchased four of these six-axle Alco locomotives from White Pass & Yukon Railroad in February 2020. In 2021, No. 107 could be seen still dressed in WP&Y colors, but relettered for D&SNG.
