Ferrying a trainload of high-ranking shippers (from Amazon, FedEx, UPS, etc.) and BNSF Railway CEO Kathryn Farmer, to the Super Bowl (can I call it that without the NFL suing me?), BNSF train O-SDGLAC9-1 is passing the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (the balloonish-looking building in the background, which is the city’s Amtrak and Metrolink station, as well as buses) and is crossing over Katella Avenue (named for Kate and Ella Rea, whose family owned a walnut ranch that is now part of the land that nearby Disneyland sits upon). This 16-car-train is powered by a pair of BNSF’s 25th Anniversary engines, ES44ACs 5828 and 6163. (Anaheim, California – February 13, 2022)
