Remarks & Notes
TVA NÂș F3060 is resting in its new home at the Tennessee Valley Railroad GJ display yard. The Fairbank-Morse H16-66 was a longtime resident at the TVA Gallatin Fossil Plant since 1958. A perfect example of the nostalgia that comes from the TVA hodgepodge locomotive roster. The baby Trainmaster handle all the work in and around Gallatin till its retirement in 1997 when the plant started to receive coal by barge instead of rails. The locomotive had sat landlocked on a stub end track for 24 years. In 2021 TVA decided to donate the one-of-a-kind locomotive to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, a significant save in my opinion. I was told the plans is to restore it back into its original black paint scheme.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
