Kansas City’s downtown streetcar runs along a 2.2-mile-long (3.5 km) route between Union Station on the south and the River Market to the north, running through the central business district and the Crossroads, mostly along Main Street. It makes stops about every two blocks, with 10 designated stops along the route. KCATA CAF Urbos 3 car 805 crosses Interstate 35 as it enters the River Market area, where it will loop around and head south to Union Station once again. New trackage is being built south of Union Station for the system’s first expansion. (Kansas City, Missouri – June 17, 2022)
